Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-10-23
These terms apply to your use of The China Navigator. By using the site you agree to them.
What this site is
The China Navigator is an informational travel guide written from personal experience. It is not a government source, not a booking agency and not legal or medical advice. It is one person's practical notes, kept as accurate as we can make them.
Rules change — verify before you travel
Visa rules, entry policies, transport schedules, opening hours and prices in China change, sometimes without much notice. We check pages against official sources and note where policies change frequently, but you must confirm anything that matters — visas, tickets, reservations — with the official source before you travel. We are not responsible if a policy changed after a page was written.
No guarantees
Content is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience arising from your use of the information on this site, including missed trains, cancelled bookings or entry refusals.
Your travel is your responsibility
You are responsible for your own documents, visas, bookings, health and safety, and for following the laws of the places you visit.
Intellectual property
The text and design of this site are our work. You may quote short passages with a link. Do not republish whole pages. If you want to reuse something at length, ask first.
External links
Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or services.
